Meet Erica Lyons
Family Hope Connection welcomed Erica to our staff in November 2010.
Prior to joining FHC, Erica was a foster care caseworker at KidsPeace in New Cumberland, PA where she advocated for children in foster care. She conducted visits to ensure they were adjusting well to their foster home, attended court reviews and judicial proceedings and developed and monitored Individual Service Plans for each child in her caseload.
Erica also served, prior to her position at KidsPeace, as therapeutic support staff at Milestones Community Healthcare in Harrisburg, PA.
She received a bachelor's degree in psychology from West Virginia University.
At the Family Hope Connection, Erica will be helping prepare children who are in the foster care system for placement in permanent homes, as well as working with families to facilitate domestic, international or waiting child adoptions.
