Meet Deborah Kelly

Deborah Kelly may be new to the Family Hope Connection staff,
but she was well-known to FHC director JoAnn White well before she
came in for her first interview.
"Debbie and I had worked together years ago," says JoAnn. "She is a
consummate professional and a warm and caring person. The families
loved her. It was a coup for Family Hope that Debbie decided to get
back into the adoption field. We are lucky to have her."
Debbie has more than a decade of experience in the adoption field,
working for many years in the field of waiting children with
special needs and also as a counselor to individuals with unplanned
pregnancies.
Debbie received a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Albright
College. In December 2007, she earned a master's degree in
Community Leadership from Duquesne University and worked in that
field until she joined the Family Hope Connection in October of
2009.
At the Family Hope Connection, Debbie will be helping prepare
children who are in the foster care system for placement in
permanent homes, as well as working with families to facilitate
domestic, international or waiting child adoptions.
